Those of you who will be coming East on I94 to get to our picnic on Sunday should be aware that the east-bound ramps at exit 162 which you would normally take in order to get to Freer Road are now shut down. Alternative directions are as follows:

  • Leave I94 at exit 159 [Chelsea and M52]
  • Take M52 South 1.1 miles until you see Jerusalem Road on the left.
  • Turn left onto Jerusalem road and follow it 1.3 miles until it intersects with Freer Road
  • Follow Freer Road North .3 miles and you will see 770 South Freer Road on your left.

Those who will be coming West on I94 will still be able to use Exit 162.

  • Follow Old Jackson Road West toward Chelsea
  • It intersects with Freer Road at a stoplight near the old Chelsea High School.
  • Turn left (South) onto Freer road and follow it until you get to 770.
