We are organizing two ways that you can attend this event:

• The Caravan Method  In this method, individuals will drive to DC, making their own arrangements for accomodations [or just sleeping in their cars/vans] .  If this is the method you want to choose, then we will put you in touch with some other folks who are doing this.
• The Tour Method  In this method, we will hire a bus, and make accomodation reservations.  The tour will leave AA on Friday morning, arriving in DC Friday evening.  It will start back to Michigan on Saturday night, spending the night somewhere near Gettysburg, PA, and then returning to Michigan on Sunday.

The cost of the Caravan method is, basically, the cost for gasoline, tolls, and whatever else you choose to spend on the trip.

The cost of the Tour method is roughly as follows:

• Bus fare:  $130/person.  [This is based on a firm quote from a local bus trip organizing company.  This is the cost if we get 20 people, if we get as many as 40, the price per person may go down.  We don't think we'll organize this method if we don't get at least 20 people.]
• Room [DC]:  $119/room for the first night in DC.  The rooms are at the Sheraton, Arlington; each is a double with two double beds, so each room can sleep as many as four occupants.
• Room [Gettysburg]:  We haven't made reservations here yet, probably around $100/night/room, but we really don't know.
